If I visit in advance to have a look at what is required, an estimated price for the job may be established and may be less or more than the hourly rate, but this will depend greatly on what is required.

Emergency repairs have a different rate to do having to try and fit a visit in between other jobs and the extra time involved potentially rescheduling a booked job to fit you in. Emergency repairs will have a minimum starting rate of £65 to £85, depending on location, with a reduced additional hours rate of £50 to £70 per hour.
